Government assistance

During the switchover to digital-only TV the Australian Government provided assistance to help eligible households make the switch to digital TV. Australians who received certain government payments, or lived in specific areas, had the cost of getting digital ready totally or partially covered. Now that the switch to digital-only TV is complete, these assistance schemes have now closed.
