If you’re an experienced antenna installer, we invite you to join the Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme.
The scheme, which is voluntary and free to join, has been developed in consultation with industry, including the Australian Digital Television Industry Association.

To be eligible for a licence you must employ or engage at least one endorsed Antenna Installer. Before you apply for a licence you must ensure the following:
-
the registration for the license must be completed by a person authorised to enter into legal agreements on behalf of your business
-
you have an antenna installer registered with the Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme under the ABN of your business
-
the trading name used by your business for antenna installation must be linked to your ABN. This trading name will be published on mySwitch and the digital ready website. You can check this using the ABN lookup site.
To complete registration you must provide information such as your ABN, business and trading name, street address and names of authorised signatories.
How do I obtain work through the Household Assistance Scheme (HAS) or Satellite Subsidy Scheme (SSS)?
The government seeks service contractors through the publication of Request for Tenders on the Australian Government Tender System (AusTender). Advertisements may also be placed in local and national newspapers.
The tender process is open and competitive. You must be able to demonstrate a capacity to manage a high volume of installations and provide adequate customer services and warranty. You must be equipped to manage customer data provided by the government.
All work done under the HAS or SSS must be endorsed at the appropriate level, including work done by subcontractors.
To obtain work installing digital TV equipment under these schemes, antenna installers are advised to contact the successful contractor in each switchover region.
